The new Transaction Recorder enables you to quickly record and securely upload sample user website interactions, including login fields, search, e-Commerce system, and other multi-step transactions from within the Google Chrome browser.

Powerful, and easy-to-use

The new recorder features an intuitive interface that walks you through the recording process step-by-step as you navigate through a transaction. You can even add a content check at any point in the process, to ensure that your pages are loading appropriately.

No maintenance hassles

Worried about updates? Don’t be.

The new Transaction Recorder automatically upgrades to the latest version when a new update has been released, so you don’t have to fumble with software installers. The most that you’ll have to do is sign into your Uptrends account!

I already have the Uptrends Transaction Recorder for Windows

Due to changing browser technical requirements, and upgrades to our servers, this extension will effectively replace the Uptrends Transaction Recorder software for Windows.

If you still have the Uptrends Transaction Recorder for Windows we advise that you uninstall it, and install the new Transaction Recorder extension for Google Chrome. We think you’ll find it much more speedy, and easy-to-use!

Note: Already monitoring your transactions? All of your current recorded transaction probes will continue to work as usual, so you don’t need to take any further action.

How do I get started?

To get started with the recorder, you will need three things:

  1. Google Chrome
  2. Uptrends Transaction Recorder extension
  3. Uptrends Website Monitoring account

Once you have these three items, you can go ahead and follow the instructions provided in the “Web Application Monitoring” lesson located in the new Uptrends Academy.
