Introducing: Domain Groups

Uptrends

With Uptrends update 4.0.43, it is now possible to access the ‘Domain Groups’ functionality within the Uptrends 4 interface.

What are Domain Groups?

Domain groups contain the definition of how individual elements within FPC (full page check) waterfalls are separated. These separations include: First Party, CDN (content delivery network), social media, web analytics, advertising, etc.

A domain group definition contains the rules that decide which group a URL belongs to. When a custom domain group has been defined, it can then be assigned to an FPC+ probe (full page check plus).

Note: A default domain group is available if a custom one has not been created. This update does not currently include the FPC+ reporting function within Uptrends 4.
