It’s 1:15a.m. Your website just went down, and users in another time zone are flooding your support lines to express their frustration and confusion. It is down? Are you working on it? Why did it happen?
As much as you’d like to answer each and every inquiry, you’re only human. You can choose to focus on fixing the downtime, or communicating with your users. We say: why not both?
Introducing Public Status Pages
We’ve been working hard on a solution that empowers you to be more transparent with your users (and team members) regarding your website, server, and web service uptime, and we’re inviting you (yes, you!) to try a preview build.
These public status pages can publicly display the uptime status of individual webpages, interactive multi-step transactions, and groups of monitored web services. You can show as much – or as little – as you’d like.
They can help you:
- Minimize support requests/questions
- Quickly inform users of service status
- Be transparent and build trust in your service
Request access to the preview
To request access click on the link below, telling us why you are interested in our public status pages. We’ll let you know when your request has been accepted.
We hope that you’re as excited about the public status pages as we are. They’re truly a great way to communicate with your user base.
Until next time!
