New Uptrends customers

We’ve had a lot of new customers entrust their web monitoring to Uptrends during Q1 2018. We want to thank each and every one of our customers for doing their part to make the Internet a better place by tracking the uptime, performance, and function of their websites, web applications, and APIs with Uptrends. We would like to list them all here, but just to name a few, we welcome:

  • Booz Allen Hamilton
  • Burberry
  • Cisco
  • Columbia Southern Education Group
  • Direct Ferries
  • The Good Guys
  • Microsoft
  • San Mateo Credit Union
  • Vente Privee

New Products and features released in Q1

We saw quite a few new solution enhancements and features during Q1.

Protected Status Pages: We’ve taken Public Status Pages to a new level. Now you can have status pages where you control access.

Multi-step API Monitoring enhancements: We’ve added step-duration data to Multi-Step API reporting, added support for Dynamic date/time variables, and support for client certificates.

Uptrends API: We expanded Uptrends API v4 to allow you to download the raw data for individual monitor checks.

Performance Monitoring: Not only have we added a native Firefox browser option to your Full Page Checks, but we’ve also enhanced the waterfall charts with a new element—unused connection. You can now see the time a connection sits after being made until the browser uses the connection reflected in your reports.

Uptrends Vault: This new function helps you manage usernames, passwords, certificates, and other sensitive information you need in your monitor setups.

We moved our Netherlands headquarters

While our developers were busy pounding out all of these new enhancements, we also moved our Netherlands office to a new larger office. The larger office provides the much-needed space for our teams to grow and work effectively. We loved our old location, but we were bumping elbows. Look for a blog post coming soon with pictures and details about the new office. In the meantime, update your contacts with our new address:

Looking ahead

This year is going to bring about a lot of exciting changes as we add developers, support heroes, and monitoring consultants to make your Uptrends Monitoring experience even better. Our developers are continuing to polish the beta release of Multi-step API Monitoring, and you can expect it to transition from beta to full production soon. The 4th version of the Uptrends API will continue to have new methods exposed for your use. Stay tuned for more news coming your way soon. Again, we thank all of our customers and partners that have joined us in our commitment to making the Internet a better place.
